    Damaged BP scales
    My BP recently damaged his scales and got some Blisters which kind of bubbled up some scales plus I found these kind of damages on his belly scales; some of my heating tape recently overheated so I feel like it might have been because of it.
    Here is a picture: Damage https://imgur.com/gallery/2PdvNTG
    Here is an example of clear scales he got on side belly (not my photo): Example https://imgur.com/gallery/LGE3uJg

    hi, i can't see the images (I don't know why) but if your heat tape recently overheated the belly scales are probably burnt because of it like you said. if it is not very badly burned the belly will be ok in a shed or two. Just wondering if you have/had a thermostat? this is necesary so that the heat does not overheat. if you did have a thermostat and it overheated you might need to get a new fuse for it or get a completely new thermostat. hope this helped :)

    Yes I actually have a thermostat but I think the probe was misplaced and that probably caused the overheating;
    I might probably change this heating tape in favor of a heating mat and another thermostat this weekend

    Hard to be sure but probably a burn. Could use some topical Silvadene cream on it, & a vet visit wouldn't be a bad idea. Burns often treated with antibiotic
    injections also...need to avoid infections and he should be kept on white paper towels as substrate while healing. Burns are painful & slow to heal...glad you
    are fixing the problem but please also help your snake a.s.a.p.
