What temp is your room when you let them explore?

When you let your bp out, what temp do you usually keep it at?

Ambient temp in my snake room is 75-77F most of the time, no less than 72F in winter.

My room temp is usually around 70F. I don't let my BP roam around freely though because I'm sure he would find a dark crevice under furniture and I'd never be able to get him out. I keep him on my lap under a blanket so he feels more secure, or he'll climb into my sleeve himself so he uses my body heat to stay warm.

My snake room has an ambient temp of about 80 degrees. I don't let the BPs out but I do let the boas out to peek around. I have a structure they climb on for exercise.

I keep my ambient temps between 78 to 80 degrees. (As it happens, I get cold easily and also prefer it warm, haha.)

You wouldn't want the room temperature to be much different than the recommended 'cool side' temperature of their enclosures, so I'd suggest about 75*.

Keep in mind that cold air sinks, so floors are usually a few degrees colder than higher up on furniture & can be drafty in winter. When I kept a large BCI (boa)
and took her out for handling, the coolest my house was (in winter) was 70*, & she mostly liked to snuggle around me while I watched a movie: I put a blanket
around her, and besides my body heat, I also ran a human-type heating pad under or next to her so she was never chilled. She was never sick, & never wanted
to go back in her cage (it was always a bit of a rodeo putting her back in, lol) so obviously the temperatures agreed with her. ;)

Crowley has a whole snake proofed room he can explore in and it averages around 73 degrees, I used a temp gum on the floor to see the temp and it seems good all over the room. He also has a tent in his room with a heat pad underneath it. When he's not doing his missions in his room I bring him out in the living room, which I find hotter, and put his favorite cave on the couch and he hangs out with me to watch TV. This winter I kept the house at 77 degrees just for the snake and because his room is at the north side of the house his room stayed at around 73. The only thing I worried about is him not having the proper humidity while he's out but I only have him out for about 3 hours at a time and he's been fine, never gotten sick.

I don't think lower humidity for a few hours will make one bit of difference. Sounds like a lucky (& well-cared for) snake to me...;)

That's good to hear, and yes he is a very lucky and spoiled snake. I don't have kids so Crowley gets all the attention and toys (mostly stuff to climb) he could possibly want. I'm not sure how many ball pythons get their own room to play in but this one does. :)
