I think I'm hooked

I've only had him for a little over 8 months but Monty has quickly become my favorite snake to handle. I also love how his colors change and his voracious appetite.

I can see why you love him, he's a smokeshow!!

I feel that way about my Hypo (Harley Quinn) and my other Boa Prometheus) is competing for the top spot also. I think for me it’s just a Boa thing. Monty is a real smoke show and I imagine has a great disposition. Easy to see why.

I’m very biased when it comes to boas as you know, lol, I’ve kept colubrids also but boas are just so cool especially if you get a nice chilled one.
I love my motley too and as you say the dark and light phases are so cool

I was late to the Boa party as well. I now have two. Behira (Ghost BCI Female) and Feliz (Dwarf Venezuelan Red Tail/BCC Male). I adore them. No idea why I waited so long to get a boa as they rock!

Very cool. Boa is next on my list, just as soon as I can pull it off.

I love the contrast he has. :) It's hard to pick favorites, but mine are generally my boas and carpets... Grimm the BCO is still growing on me, lol. Although I did hold him the other day after he had made a mess in his cage without him trying to bite me, so there's that.
