Current proper Latin name for the reticulated python?
I have seen several genus names for the reticulated python, Broghammerus reticulatus, Python reticulatus, and Malayopython reticulatus. Does anyone here know which is the most current? If I’m reading Wikipedia correctly it seems Malayopython was the most recent designation, however the wiki entry uses P. reticulatus more.

I'm sure with further research things will change again and maybe again.

Reach out reptiles had a video on this not long ago. According to that video mainlands are malayopython reticulatus reticulatus and then there are the jampeanus and saputrai sub species. Might check it out on YouTube, I found it informative.
