Always something

A few months ago I got a female sharp albino hatchling. Everything’s been great with her, she eats great and has even shed for me (in one piece). My problem is that it took a month for her to do her business after I got her and it’s been 2 more months since then and she hasn’t gone again. No urate or anything. I know their metabolism is slower than my pythons but I’m a chronic worrier and I just wanted to know if anyone else has seen this in their animal? She’s my only boa, ive got 6 bp’s and a retic and I’ve never had this issue before.

If it’s small food your giving her then
They often use most of it up rather than depositing it.a month
Is quite common for a boa not to go to
Toilet . So don’t worry too much, check they not got sausage butt if you notice this then put them in a tub with some Luke warm water for a while then this often makes them go

1) Boas don't hatch, they're live birth.

2) If you're only used to ball pythons and retics then yes having a boa is a bit disconcerting at first because they're not making a mess every 2-3 days (which IMO is actually very nice!). And a neonate is going to use most of what it's being fed for growth, especially if it's on rat fuzzies or pups which don't have a lot of hair, so there won't be much waste for them to pass.

“IT” HAPPENED! Whew!!! I was getting super worried. She was starting to get too much junk in her trunk and you could feel a big urate right near her vent so I was worried she wasn’t gonna be able to pass it. I decided to try soaking one more time before I made the vet appointment. I soaked her for 15 minutes and massaged her for a few minutes while she crawled through my hands. I put her back in her enclosure and woke up this morning to a nice big pile of mess! I’m usually not so damn happy about cleaning up but I am this time!
