    Explosive poo/urates.
I fed him Wednesday just gone. Now he’s just done a ‘explosive’ wizz in the corner of the viv. What does it mean?

I’ll put a picture up in a minute.

It means that he really really had to go.

This is just urates no poo, he usually has a wizz one night an poos the next.
The poo he had last week was a bit of a dirty protest.

    .....it happens, lol. ;)

But when you describe it as "explosive", it suggests to me that some of his urates dried up a little & all of a sudden, that minor
blockage let loose. Not much more anyone can tell you about it. Snakes can have even more troublesome blockages...their urates
can become "stone-like" (aka "cloacaliths") that often need some vet help to unblock. I've unblocked such a snake (wisely in my
bathtub) & I DO know what you mean by "explosive"! It was both the urate stones & poo...I ducked! ;)

Make sure your snake's humidity is where it should be. Other than that, not much you can do, unless you want to inject his f/t prey
with water just before feeding, if he's not drinking enough water.

Doesn't seem to be anything to worry abour or over think on. Just a snake relieving itself.

But good on you for caring and asking questions. Keep up the good work! :gj:

So basically nothing to be concerned about. Cleaned it now anyway, it’s 1:40am an I’m sweating after doing that.

It left the smell of musk or whatever it is. All clean now + no smell.

It's a bummer when they do this at 1:30 in the a.m. for sure... sleep well.

(the extra pressure must have pushed on the anal glands too, you really hit the jackpot!)
