    i fed my baby snake on sunday night and all its been doing since is hanging out in the hides. is that normal after feeding the temp is good to go how long does it take for them to digest a small mouse this snake is only like 14" long right now just a baby.

    They will often "chill out" a good while after eating. You might also catch them taking a drink after feeding as well - it's about the only time I ever see mine do that (at least in the day). Also as nocturnal animals you may not notice much activity during the day at all.

    We don't handle for a minimum of 48 hours after a meal (even a bit longer if they've just gone up in either prey size or number of prey offered). It's very normal for balls to use their hides alot after eating or at any time really. They are shy, nocturnal snakes after all.
