    Snake acting weird
So i fed my snake late around two days ago, and when trying to feed her she was acting super jumpy and bit me when i was moving her out of her tank, so i just fed her in her tank, and now ive only seen her curled up on top of her hide, shes acting super weird, she looks like shell try to bite if you take her out but once you get her out shes still a little jumpy but she doesnt bite, anyone have any idea of whats happening, ive had her for about 5 months and ive never seen her act like this.

Bad idea to feed in another cage...always feed where they live, they're more relaxed & feel safer.

Hard to say what's going on with her now: for starters, what are the high & low temps. in her cage? & the humidity? what kind of heat is used? what size tank?

Is her cage in a quiet place? Any other pets bothering her? or kids? How old is she? How long have you had her? We're not "psychic", we need lots more info
to be of real help to you.

I'm all for humane treatment of livestock, including the proper food (grass for beef) & not feed-lots. I don't consume a lot of beef but if I do, my conscience is clear.

But I think this is getting a bit off-topic... :hijackd:

Nice. I filled out a cut sheet and put a deposit on half a steer from a local farmer yesterday.

To answer the OP's question, this all sounds like normal behavior for a young ball python. Since you're using a tank as housing when you pick her up, if you come in from over her head that is considered a threat so yes, she will nip. Try approaching her from the front as much as possible.
