    Chances of laying infertile eggs?
My hognose stopped eating over winter for the first time (temps and light stayed the same, so she did this on her own. This is the first year she’s big enough to breed). She started eating again about a month ago and now is in shed, so I’m just concerned about the possibility of her laying eggs. I don’t know how likely it is, but if it does happen is there anything I can do to lessen the chances of her becoming egg bound? And how easy is it to tell if there are any eggs left inside? I’d rather be prepared even if it’s unlikely.
