    Question about temperature
My ball pythons are in a rack system however I have a curtain in front of the rack so it keeps the heat in I don't use that all the time only during the night if the temp drop we like to keep our house around 72 degrees would it be okay if the rack is staying at 75 on the outside temp? Would it be better to take a temperature measurement inside one of the tubs once we have the house down to 72 degrees and see where it's at then?

Yes, you want to measure temps INSIDE the tubs. The temps outside are completely irrelevant. The only factor outside temps play is how much heating you need.
