Carpet python cookie looking yummy fresh!!!
Another forum member had asked about my carpet python cookie earlier today and since I had some nice pics I took Monday I figured I’d toss them up here...!
She’s doing well other than her feisty attitude! But she sure is pretty! Full reverse stripe down the back. None of the pattern touches so she has a nice gap of blank space straight down her back. Pretty cool!!

Yea I also find her unique and a little different. I’ve seen some similar but none too close. I’ve asked a few people who know a thing or two about them and they have all said just a very nice jag. We shall see as she grows she sure has a lot to do. I’d say she’s about 3.5’..? She’s never stretched out always wrapped and tight. If I tried to stretch her out I’m asking to get tagged and that’s not good for me or her. Trying to work with her cause she has a lot of maturing to do to say it lightly lol

She’s a beauty! I was just looking at jaguars on MM the other night. They sure are pretty.

Nah, just admiring them. Though I have thought of picking up a jungle or irian jaya again. I had carpets years ago, and one of my biggest regrets is selling a jungle cross when I had to downsize. He was a gorgeous snake and a real sweetheart to handle.
My first love...obsession?...are my ball pythons. I know lots of folks call them pet rocks, but I love them anyway, even if it does look like I just have empty cages. :D I’m up to 17 snakes right now, 13 are bps and if the weather ever cooperates I’m adding one more. After that I’m going to try to behave.

She looks great! I love the look of some of the Jag crosses but have stayed away because of the potential neuro issues. Glad to hear she's been without so far.
Carpets are such interesting snakes and are quickly becoming my favorite, in addition to my boas. If the weather holds this coming week for shipping I may finally be able to introduce something I've waited the last few months for and am super excited about. :)
And then Tinley next weekend... Hoo boy. A trio of Carpets and a trio of boas sounds reasonable, right??
