Online Ordering: A Query.
I can see some obvious advantages and disadvantages to in-person purchases and online purchases of your chosen reptiles.
For online orders you can get your own designer morphs! But in-person you get to see their health, demeanor, and living conditions. One could argue in either direction.
For those that do order online: what suppliers do you trust? Why?
For those who only buy in-person: what are some of the biggest reasons you avoid online purchases? Have you ever considered going online for your pets?
Re: Online Ordering: A Query.
I’ve ordered two BP’s online. I’ve used morphmarket for both (different sellers). I ALWAYS ask for additional photos/ video (video preferred). I also ONLY use PayPal and only pay through “goods and services” and never through “friends and family” (if the seller asks it’s a red flag). PayPal can get your money back through “goods and services” but you aren’t protected through “friends and family.”

I would recommend buying off a breeder or at least knowing a certain morphs price in the market so you're not charged retail price at pet-smart or Petco..
Re: Online Ordering: A Query.
If only there weren't dishonest people out there we wouldn't have to worry about what we buy over the net when it comes to stuff like this. Asking for photos is a must that I've heard more than once. And I've been told never, ever buy any exotic pets from places like PetSmart and PetCo. I had considered buying a corn snake from my local PetSmart before looking at Ball Pythons. Then I heard from a few different sources that's a bad idea. There are two very reputable exotic pet stores in my area as well as a few breeders. I'm lucky enough to have a decent selection in person. So far they just haven't had the snake I wanted to walk away with.
