    Rescues and bad sheds
Just curious what experiences anyone has had with a rescued or neglected animal. My purple albino female just had another bad shed last night. I got her last July from a guy that bought her from someone who had her in a small aquarium with no heating or lighting. When the previous owner got her she had mites and was being fed a mouse maybe once a month. Every shed she's had with me has been bad although they seem to be improving a little every time. I've read that it can take a couple years of proper nutrition/husbandry to fully recover. She's doing great now other then bad sheds, growing like a weed, eats like a champ and very calm.
