Vision Racks/Freedom Breeder Tubs

I'm curious to know if anybody out there is currently/previously using Vision Model V-70 racks with Freedom Breeder FB70-C tubs? The specs for the Vision V-70 tubs and the Freedom Breeder FB70-C tubs are very similar (V70: 34" x 17.5" x 5.3" FB70-C: 33.5" x 17.75' x 5.3") but I want to make sure the fit is secure. I like the Vision racks but I'd rather use the FB tubs if I can.

Im following as well. Would love to know how close they are to similar. given deminsions seem to already have a bit of dif. may cause an issue with the fit. FB is 1/4 in bigger may make it kinda difficult to slide in and out of that rack. But ill let more experienced peeps put in on this.

I would guess you need to find out the dimensions of the lip around the tub as that is what slides onto the rack to see if its the same. One might have a taller or wider lip which would be a deal breaker even if the overall dimensions are close enough.

Yeah, that's what I thinking too, gunkle. I'm concerned that even a slight difference in the overall dimensions, could be a huge problem in the end.

Update: I wrote to Vision and asked them the same question I posted here. The sales rep said she wasn't familiar with the Freedom Breeder tubs and couldn't give me a definitive yes or no answer.

Looks good. Only thing I see is that the video is 6 years old and I'd be concerned that something may have changed since then. But I'm am a bit of an over thinker and look for possible issues. Very possible its all still the same too.

The age of the video has me wondering too. The video is promising but I'm still looking for solid, current information.
