    NJ Balls
Do Male ball pythons have a type
You know how some guys like blondes, others like brunettes, and some go crazy for redheads. Are male ball pythons the same?

As juveniles I bought a breeder pair of het clowns that I raised and have been trying to breed for the past two years with no luck. I've put them together dozens of times, I've put two males together with the female to get him agitated, I've also put the shed of another male in the enclosure, still nothing. Last year after several attempts I gave up and paired the female with a different male to produce five eggs.

I was thinking this male just doesn't get it or he's just to stressed out but this year after several failed attempts I paired him with a different female and bam within a hour he's locked up. I don't get it maybe he just has a thing for bumblebees.

Males are usually not the picky ones females tend to be.

The female could have zero in the rest in that male.

The female or the male may not be ready.

Because you put a male with a female does not mean you will have eggs or that something will happen, you need to be able to read your animals.

Also because you do not see anything does not mean nothing happens.
