    Hemp Bedding
Has anyone used hemp before? Is it better/worse than aspen. I cant seem to find aspen in stores anywere in metro detroit for the last couple weeks. Just wondering if Hemp would make a good alternate. THanks

Why not just use newspaper. Or even cypress bark.

I thought about using hemp for bedding, but then there were all these young slackers hanging out in my snake room. It was a bad scene.

Well, i went ahead and got the hemp bedding. It is quite oderless and seems to be similar in consistancy to aspen. I'll let everyone know how it goes

For what it's worth... hemp is a totally different strain than the cannibus sativa that we love to smoke oh-so-much. There's no THC in hemp, it's not going to give anyone the munchies. I don't see why it wouldn't work just fine for bedding. Let us know what it does for your humidity levels!

Well, I finished my custom lid last night and the humidity this morning was through the roof! around 75% or so!!! Must drill some more holes in the lid. I suppose that too high humidity is ok for a little while until i get everything perfect. I like the hemp bedding a lot. It looks nice and i get much more even temps than i did with carefresh.
