To bioactive? Or not to bioactive?
    Hey hey hey!

So ive recently been looking for a bigger terrarium for my BP. I will probably end up putting him in a 35x18x18 or somewhere around there. I have been having trouble keeping the humidity up, while also having trouble getting his hot spot up past 72 since I moved it on the bottom of the tank between the UTH and the bottom of the tank.

I was thinkijg of going bioactive with the new enclosure I’m going to get. Are any of your terrariums bioactive? What are the pros and cons? Thanks in advance for your help! :)

See my other post (just made) for info on my set up. The experience so far is really positive if you like the idea of a more complex and creative challenge that will hopefully enrich your BP's existence.

Before trying to experiment with another setup you need to concentrate on how to successfully maintain the one you already have, which at this point you have not.

Hey I'm just about to write a post on my bioactive vivarium. I've had it over a yeah now and it's doing well. Before I went bioactive I was having trouble with keeping my humidity up but after I didn't really have a problem. I would recommend doing it if your willing to put the effort in but once fully established it's so much easier than a sterile set up. But you need to do your research on every thing you do but well worth it.
