    Best tub brands/locks
What brand tubs are the most escape proof/have the best locks? Will I have to get separate locks regardless of what brand, and if so what should I get?

Assuming that by locks you mean the latches that can keep the lid shut, I think Sterilite tubs are pretty standard. Not sure if any tubs have particularly great latches though, the centre of the lid can usually lift slightly so that part needs to be held down by books, binder clips, or luggage straps. Some people have also made DIY latches by drilling holes and putting a snap hook through it to keep the lid shut.

I have a couple hefty 100qt plastic totes that are 3 feet long, and it latches on four sides instead of just two.
It's not strong enough for my dumeril's boa for some reason (lol) but it is strong enough for ball pythons and thinner/smaller snakes.

Thank you both for the replies! And yes I meant latches, I completely blanked on the word lol. I wasn't sure if there were some heavier duty tubs that would be more secure, but I can definitely stack something heavy on the tub where it would lift up
