    maybe he can't see?
my male zulu hasn't eaten for 25 days and he's down to 1570 somthin from 1660 somethin. i'm thinking of reasons he wouldn't be eating and i did a close inspection of him to day. for the last month or so i've noticed that his eyes look like he has eyecaps on them, but he doesn't. they look like that because he's been rubbing his nose/sides of his face on stuff in his cage, i.e. branch, sliding front, that sorta thing. the top layer(epidermis i think it's called) of his scales in his nose area look like it retained shed and now it looks like that in his eye. would that cause him to not see as well, therefore causing him to not feed? heres a pic... if you look closely at his nose area you can see whats going on.

We are hitting that time of year where it isnt uncommon for BPs to go off feed for the next several months. If he is retaining any shed it would be the discomfort more than anything that causing him not to eat as snakes have terrible vision to begin with.

not bothering me, I have been thru it several times with different Bps and it never gets easier to deal with just easier to understand I guess.
