    ok well im thinking of university rigth now, I live in Puerto Rico, and some school from the U.S. came here to talk about there schools, and realy like the university of Iowa. I whant to know how is Iowa and how is that university and some more insite info well thx for any info take care and God bless

    Sorry, I can't think of anyone in that area. What are you looking to study? Maybe we can suggest some schools with good reputations in that area.

    Do you have an undergraduate degree? Typically you have to have one in order to be admitted to a vet school.

    Kansas State is supposed to be a very good vet school.

    Well, I'm from IL, so I can at least tell you about the weather. You're probably going to get a shock, it can occasionally get to -60 with the wind chill. That is very rare, though, and doesn't happen on a regular basis. When something like that happens it's a blast of artic air from canada. It snows on a freqently basis, or it's blistery and cold. In the summer (here anyway) it can hit up to the 90s.

    IL is known for being rather humid, I don't know if that's the same in Iowa.

    I know one of the schools in Iowa has a decent engineering school, but I couldn't tell you anything else about that.

    I know Oklahoma State University has a good vet school, although it probably has a lot of focus on large animals.

    i was planning to study vet med and i live in california. university of california Davis has an excellent vet system. you should try them. weather is really nice and everything.
