This afrock was slightly injured and removed from a game farm after taking a small antelope.....She still has not got over her taste for venison;)

haha, way to be thrifty! good feeding response on a dead and bloodied rabbit?
reminds me of the time i hit a deer with my jeep. i jumped out, put it out of its misery and threw it in the back. i felt like a hillbilly for sure.

Messy, but nice. I know a few burm owners that are like this they see road kill that isnt stinken and its a free meal to them.

Hahaha, good to know I am not the only one who has done that before (hit a deer and then put it out of its misery and loaded it up in my truck). But hillbilly or not my friend, it was free meat that kept my freezer stocked for ages.

Isn't anyone worried about disease in rodents/rabbits that are found by the side of the road? Seems to me, this is a risky practice.

I'd be worried about parasites as well.
Charming though, really.
Oh I didn't realise the snake was originally wild.. as long as it'll be returned to the wild I guess the parasites won't harm it anyway.

Agreed....it is a risky practice.....but since she is imprinted on wild items I have to find her wild items....I just make sure they are healthy and there is no chance they can get to poison etc.
I'm just glad this magnificent hare didn't have to go to waste.....It was huge
