Re: Gonna pull the trigger!
It's happened before, but so have other freak accidents in the world. I personally wouldn't worry too much, if at all. Just follow quarantine and you'll be alright.
Re: Gonna pull the trigger!
Finally did it. Just got home with a sharp albino motley. She is stunning. I was looking her over before I put her in her temporary home, and I can see why people love these animals. So much more active than a ball python.

Would love some pictures! :) Congrats!

I love Boas! I have two; a female ghost BCI (Behira) and a Venezuelan Dwarf BCC/True Red Tail (Feliz). Great personalities, active, but not so much that they wear you out even when bigger. They are also curious and interactive and do not just look to hide.
They are great fun and eat like clockwork.
If it hasn't been discussed, you probably want to hook train. They are aggressive feeders and often think about food. I started the thread below about hook training. I hook train my boas and my carpet python. Anything that has a strong food response and/or can be cage defensive, and can do damage, should be hook trained IMO.

There are plenty of good boa peeps on here. Don't be afraid to ask anything. We are here to help.
