Genetics of a Banana Ph Pied?
Question.. I’m trying to learn more about genetics. I have a banana ph pied that came from a vanilla female and banana het pied male. What does the ph pied mean more specifically like do I have to breed it to find out if the pied gene proves out? I’m confused be easy on me :)

pH= possible het. So in your case yes, you'd have to breed it to something at least definitely het pied to see if it's her or not. Even then, I'd go with a visual so your odds of finding out are higher.
