These plants ok for ball python?

Hi, i can’t figure out what type of plants these are, does anyone know if tey are okay to put in the terrarium with my ball python? Thanks in advance!!

i found the names of the plants, it is a emerald ripple peperomia and a gold dust plant.

I'm no plant expert but "gold dust plant" sounds like too common a name to be sure what it is...scientific names really help, just like in snakes. ;)
(ie. which "black snake" is meant?)

It's tough meeting the needs of plants in snake cages...they don't get much light* and they have to withstand a snake's weight.

Aucuba japonica. Is the scientific name of the gold dust plant. I can care for the plants in the snake tank just wanted to make sure they are safe for the snake before i put any plants in with him :)

I can't tell you for sure...you might search lists of "plants toxic to pets" but mostly they assume pets will EAT them, & I can assure you your snake won't.
You just need to find out if plants have surface spines (that come off & embed the way cactus do) or give off toxic/noxious oils (like poison oak/ivy do).

I’d use pothos as it’s hardy and non abrasive. Also if you plant it next to vertical items it will eventually grow on it creating a naturalized effect. As others have said it doesn’t matter if the plant is poisonous because your snake shouldn’t ingest it. If the plant has external irritants that would cause issues.

Aucuba japonica or spotted laurel is a very hardy garden shrub in the UK , so not sure it would be too happy in a Viv,the pothos would be fine
