    Mice to rats
My youngest BP is on adult mice and I'm driving about 40 mins to stock up on feeders, but I want to make the switch. What size rat should I be getting? I'm not sure if I can look at them and don't want to get anything to big or small.

    Thanks.

A large mouse in the UK is comparable to a small rat weener in size, but rats have higher fat content than mice

Different sellers sometimes label them differently (as to sizes), so it's best to weigh the prey you're feeding & ask for rats by weight. If you're talking about
frozen, most sellers list them that way. If not, ask for size comparable to adult mouse.

Yup. F/T. Hopefully I can look at them. I never weighed the mice. [emoji849]

Cool thanks. I was actually looking for this. And I didn't realize but I've been doing large rats for my big guy. Should I just do medium or small then? He's huge though lol.

Rats are very calorie rich so you have to be careful overwise gets obese
