    A nice read. I liked the article about the woodpecker that looks like a snake and the Telluride article.

    Wow, not just a new species but a whole new genus! I'll say that's cool! :snake: And it has some unusual adaptations too. So much we DON'T know.

    whoa this is one krazy kool story! i am reading this correctly? this "new" species was actually found in 1976?!! wow, this is a very good follow-up story by Nat Geo from the annals of time and science.

    also the artist rendering looks alot like an African House Snake. anyways i hope that this lil snek is out there in the wild of Chiapas.
