    Ball/royal pythons vivarium size
Hi, I have a high white pied male who is probably fully grown now. At the moment he is in a 4ft Viv but he rarely comes out and eats on odd occasions. He has 2 hides either side of his Viv, wooden climbing branch thing, with a half a log underneath. He also has a water bowl.

I'm just wondering whether the Viv is to big for him and to open

    Any help please

Providing more info would help. Pics of the setup would too.

But first, if you can help us with the following info we may be able to help you.

    - how much does the snake weigh?
    - what are your temps?
    - how are you heating the enclosure?
    - are your heat sources regulated by a thermostat??
    - what type and size prey are you offering? How often?
    - how often do you handle the snake?

The more you tell us, the better we can help you.
