https://ball-pythons.net/gallery/fil...6aec7e6de.jpeghttps://ball-pythons.net/gallery/fil...33c870656.jpegI have a new Mojave VPI Axanthic BP that is about 5.5 months old and 170 grams. I’d love to compare one to togers of similar varieties if you guys have any and use this thread to track husband progression as he grows. ☺️

    Welcome and congrats.
Maybe a little too cold for that baby to be going on car rides?

    Thanks everyone!

and yes, I drove 3.5 hours to pick him up and took a picture with him the day I got him before putting him back in his insulated box with a heat pack. I didn’t want to risk fedex.

That is a nice looking snake!

Males almost always have a slower growth curve than females.
Pictured is one of my female VPI Axanthic Pastel hold-backs I hatched Aug 2nd, 2018, @ 344 grams.

I've read that most axanthics tend to brown out as they age, though some strains are more likely to keep their black and white coloration. I'm not finding much information on a Mojave-axanthic morph but am wondering if anyone has information about their coloration as adults. In the grand scheme, i know it's relatively unimportant what color he is but I am curious as to what to expect. He will be loved regardless. 💕
