    Forever tank?
Hi guys! My baby Sally is pushing three feet. She has never been properly sexed by a professional but considering how quick she’s growing in addition to me “popping” her once and nothing coming out I’ve concluded that she is a female.
Its time for me to get her a forever tank that will last her into adulthood. She grows like 3 inches a month and eats like a garbage disposal so I would rather go bigger and safer 😁
now I do think I prefer glass over PVC cages (I was able to modify my current glass tank to work perfectly)
also I have a nice amazon gift card balance due to the holidays so I’d prefer to buy from amazon.
Heres one option I’ve been looking at (the 48x24x18 one)

Carolina Custom Cages Terrarium, Extra-Long, 48Lx18Dx18H, Easy Assembly https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077QHSYWX..._ICzjCbTW9JVVW

    what do you think?
Are there better sellers on Amazon you know of? Should I look into different type of tanks? Would that size be good or should I go bigger / smaller?
    Thank you!
    And here is my noodle

If you already know you want a glass tank, I don't think there's many options lol! A 4 foot long tank is definitely large enough for any average adult ball python.

The one you've linked works fine. I have the 2 foot long version of it.

I'd suggest a 4' tank as well...the one you described sounds fine. :gj: What a lovely noodle- she's gonna look great in that set-up too, with plenty of room.

Can I ask what has you sold on glass? Do you leave the sides uncovered or something? You can get Animal Plastics PVC enclosure for 40% less money and not have to give a second thought to temps and humidity.

Honestly Animal plastics just look really ugly to me :/ I do have sides covered (I have a background stuck on the outside of the tank that looks all jungle-y)
plus I’ve read that PVC goes bad and breaks down over time.
I’ve worked out the humidity and temperatures in my 20 gal glass so I’m sure with a few more modifications I could work out the 40 gal as wel. Besides animal plastics don’t sell on amazon and I have like 500$ on there as a gift card balance

40 gal? A 4' tank will be 60-70+ gal. (depending on the width & height) But I agree, modifications work.

Maybe you're thinking of melamine/wood? PVC doesn't "go bad" or break down over time, it's plastic LOL. Maybe after a few decades.
