    Berber skink not coming out
    Hello, all!

My skink, Neville, is 10 years old. Last couple of weeks, I haven't seen him much. I saw that he shed, but he doesn't come out for food (I hand feed him). I don't know if it's just the time of year or what. This is my first winter with him. I know it's not old age because they can live to be 20 or more. The tank doesn't smell, so I know he's not dead. I'm just worried. Do they hibernate? If so, how can I make it better for him? It's hard to find info for Berber/Schneider's skinks.

He's topside again. Asleep and in his cave, but visible.

People will start to notice different behaviour in their reptiles if the ambient temp drops. keep an eye out for poo & urates.

a lot of our reptiles have noticed the temp drop and hiding more than usual.

just make sure temps are ok and he looks alright.
