In Case I'm Not Around As Much
Just to let you all know and in case I'm not on the forum or answering PM's or emails as quickly, Mike's health has taken a sudden and serious turn for the worse this past two weeks. Out of the blue, he's developed extreme migraine-like headaches and sudden high spiking blood pressure as well as some mini-stroke like side effects in balance and mobility.

We're in a crazy round of doctors and the emergency department (they ended up calling an ambulance at work this Friday) trying to find out if this is something as simple as a reaction to his regular medication or something far more serious. So far the cat scans and MRI's and cardiac tests are not showing anything abnormal so it's off to the neurologist and tons of lab tests this coming week.

Send us some good thoughts folks, I'm more worried than you can imagine but trying to be calm and steady for Mike and the kids. I'm praying this is just a wierd meds reaction and can be sorted out with a simple change in prescription.

Sorry to hear about that. I know what is like to be told 'we are not sure if anything is wrong' when I know something is not right.....then off to the next doctor. I hope everything turns out to be ok. God bless.

Sorry to hear. I am all too familiar with migraines and their ilk - hopefully it WILL indeed just be an unforeseen effect or interaction that can be quickly ironed out. All best wishes for a quick recovery!

You and your family will definitely be in my thoughts and prayers, Joanna. I know what it's like to be under that kind of stress, but the need for the strong front. Best of luck dealing with those doctors and tests. If you need to vent just let me know.
