    Should I Mist?
I have a ball python and I keep the humidity at a good level, so should I mist the enclosure?

Ok, than you shouldn't have to mist. If your humidity is staying around 55% you're all set. Just bump to about 70% during shed.

Oh...also, what type of hygrometer are you using? I ask because the stick on analog dial ones are often very inaccurate.

A Great choice one, or basically one that points to the number of the humidity

Ditch that zero and get a hero! The stick on analog temp/humidity gauges are trash. Not only are they known to be wildly inaccurate, they can also be a hazard to your snakes health what with the sticky stuff on the back. Get an Acurite digital thermometer/hygrometer, they are 5-10 bucks on Amazon, at wal-mart, home depot...

Most definitely will if it’s better for reading humidity levels and for my snakes health!
