I love these lamps that have a built in dimmer. I use the 5.5 inch ones with 75 watt infrared bulbs. The Petco by me sells them, but PetSmart does not.
Keep in mind that it not work like a thermostat, your temps will fluctuate as the room temp will fluctuate so you will have to adjust all the time.
I like & use some of these too, but I have some others (generic from Lowes-type stores) that have worked well for years also.

I used these for a couple years, very similar to the one Debra is showing. It’s got a little red light, let’s you know it’s working and makes it easier to spot. I just thought it looked cool.

I wanted to check the ones with the built in dimmers. I use the ZooMed mini deep domes with external dimmers.

I need something that turns the day lamp on / off after 12 hours.
This is for my KSB, btw. I just realized I posted in wrong subforum. Whoopys. In my defense, I was VERY tired last night and running on little sleep.
