    Heat Lamp Problems
So this morning I realized my balls tank was much cooler than normal while checking humidity. I checked the lamp and thermostat and everything seemed okay. However checked again this afternoon and needless to say my ball is now in a backup tub (very unhappy about it to) with a heat mat under and substrate.

I've ordered a new lamp but my concern is it is the bulb and not the actual lamp. The bulb when touched (its just a heat emitter and not a actual light) was hot enough to make me jerk away even this afternoon, but the lamp was cold. So does it seem like I have a bulb issue or a lamp issue?

Wanting to get this right asap to keep stress down. I got one big balled up pouting stressed noodle who isn't happy with a downgrade from a 70 gallon tank lol

Good luck with figuring this one out. If is the che, then you will have a backup lamp when the new one arrives.
