    Kenyan Sand Boa Size question
I have a Kneyan Sand Boa whom Deb was kind enough to help out by sexing visually a few months ago. Now I'm curious, particularly for anyone who isn't able to reliably sex visually, is there a size at which it becomes clear that you have a female vs a male?

Once they are adult there is a major size difference but of course when they reach adult size will vary from one to another depending on how the animal is being fed.

If the animal is over 20 inches and 200 grams it's most likely a female, males usually max out at about 18 inches and 200 grams.

Wow, I didn't realize males got quite that heavy. Most of the other pages I found that had any info put adult male weights between 50 and 100g.

What's a typical weight for a full grown female in your experience?

400 to 600 grams is a very good weight but I have seen bigger, size wise they are very similar to Hognose.

The 100 grams male it's the ideal weight for a male to start breeding but they get slightly bigger, though they still look ridiculously small next to a nice mature female.

    That's good to know, thanks!

I didn't find many pages that would talk about size by weight and the few that did didn't make mention of it as a breeding size or full adult size they were stating.

I'm sure the size difference is pretty funny to see.
