I admit I'm not a football fan, actually I don't like to watch any sports on TV. Well, I watch soccer, but only the WM. And only my favorite teams. After all, I'm German ;)
That said, this was pretty incredible. Talk about "last second turn around". That is always exciting. The other team looked shell shocked !!! Stuff like that makes it worth watching :)

That was awesome! Not only because I'm a NE Patriot hater but it's just so rare that those plays are successful. Better than a hail mary!

Oh my goodness, that explains it! They call me the "Aida whisperer" at one of my jobs. For some strange reasons I get along with German tourists here in Bar Harbor better than any of the other guides. They say, "Germans love Tim the Tour Man!". :P

My sister is a huge Aida fan. They have been on so many cruises, they might have even met you, LOL !!!
I can't even keep up on where and when they go, they are always off to somewhere on a Aida ;)
Since you get along well with Germans, please tell me you like proper beer. Light american beers are pretty gross, imho, LOL  no offense ;)

Even though I come from a family of BIG TIME soccer fans, my brother now admits he almost rather watches american football.
He is a Green Bay fan. Its just difficult for him to watch all games, because of the time difference and his shift work.
I do enjoy soccer, but only during the WM. The German team was a HUGE embarrassment during the last one. Painful to watch. All pretty boys with well styled hair and zero drive. They were awesome during the WM before that, though.

We get about 10 Aida ship calls to Bar Harbor every Summer/Fall. The cruise run is usually NY or Boston to either Montreal or Quebec City. And yes, although not a big beer drinker, American beer sucks for the most part. I currently have Pilsner Uquell and Grolsch in the fridge but need to be schooled on some good German beers. Nothing much better than a German beer/brat/frittes stand! Königsbacher is the beer I remember most when I was in Germany last.
