How to tell what genes are in ya ball python

I purchased a male ball at pet smart they told me it was a royal ball I tryed to look the pattern up because it looks yellow on in the middle of side down it looked like a yellow belly by the pictures I've seen haven't seen pics on royals

Ball Pythons are royal Pythons

Just post a picture that will be a lot easier than a description.

Royal python is just what people in other countries call ball pythons.

Chain stores really don't know much about reptiles, I would guess you have a normal.
