I do believe I should say hello
Well hello, I am PanzoN88, I am new to the world of snakes as I don't have any. My primary hobby is tarantula keeping. I have 35 currently, however I am looking to branch out and attempt raising snakes (colubrids and ball pythons). I don't plan on raising too many as I've got to conserve space for more tarantulas. I am simply here to lurk and learn all I can for now considering I don't have room for any snakes right now (planning a move down south, maybe Texas or one of the Carolinas, all depends on which college I transfer to). I have one dog (14 year old chihuahua mix). Had a shih tzu who lived to be 12 and passed away two months ago. I still have dreams about my little Buddy every day.

I found this forum during my search of snake forums that are similar to the three tarantula forums I'm apart of (you may know me already if you are members on any of them) and this one has everything I am looking for in a forum (seems extremely friendly, inviting, and this place had breeder reviews which played a role in my decision to join). I will probably not post much for a couple of years in most of the subforums, but I hope I can learn as much as possible, plus I am looking forward to being part of what seems like a very warm community dedicated to helping newcomers to the forum.

I think I'm done rambling on and possibly repeating myself in the process. I am truly looking forward to being a part of this forum.

    Welcome !

In my humble opinion, this is the best place to be when it comes to learning, sharing, caring. :)

We're glad to have you join us, PanzoN88. Snakes are my primary interest & have been for many years, but I had a large female tarantula for a while when I
lived in the So Calif. desert....nature gives us so many things to be fascinated by. I was never on any tarantula forums though. I love dogs too, currently mine
are 10 & 13 years old...so sorry you lost your Buddy. Does your other dog miss him too? (-my 2 are best buds with each other, & their antics make me laugh)
If you have any questions, don't be shy!

    :welcome:

My chihuahua mix was elated I think. She knew that would mean more attention for her.

Aww... One of my dogs is 46 lbs & the other is 19, both mixes, both are very playful and with no fights ever. The little guy is actually the 'alpha'- even though he came
along many years after the first. (I've had her since she was 6 mos. old.) Despite such a big size difference, they play really well together & keep me laughing.
