    Reptile/Snake shops in Boston area???
Can anyone recommend a good snake haven in the Boston area? I travel to Portland, Maine two days every week and Boston is only 90 miles from there. I've tried to look around Portland but to no avail. Thanks all.

Since you will be in the Boston ares go to NERD in Playstow it's only 1 hour out, and schedule a tour.

Also, if you can wait, good show.

Not sure how far that is for you, but if you can make it, it’s definitely worth going.

This show for sure is on the calendar as it is the closest to me at about 300 miles away. How many exhibitors do they attract?

The website lists the exhibitors and the show usually attracts some interesting animals and vendors and quite a few people. It's pretty big. Usually takes me an hour to see everything.

OK, that says alot. I'm thinking if I am traveling to a place I have to spend the night then maybe I go to a bigger show? I'll have to look at the schedule to see what else is in the New England/New York area. Thanks for the info!

The White Plains Expo is the biggest one that they put on in the area. There is some redundancy, but many vendors who to the NH show, like NERD, do not go the White Plains Expo, and vice versa. Vin Russo (Cutting Edge Herp), for example goes to White Plains, but I am pretty sure he does not go to NH, etc.

So you might want to check out the vendor list and/or determine what you are looking for before the show, to see which show might be best of that type of reptile.

Feel free to post to ask for some breeders in the area who might be best for what you are looking for (my apologies if you already did and I missed it), or PM me anytime.

    Good luck.

I will try to do both and make an appointment at NERDS. Thanks
