Morph ID Help

Could y’all give me some insight to what this guy is? Seller says genetic stripe and possibly het albino, but I’m curious why he’s white and yellow if he’s only het albino. It looks like his eyes are black. Thanks in advance!

I would vote bumble bee genetic stripe. the best way to guess is to find out the pairing though. That could reveal a lot if you can get that info from who you purchased him from.

I contacted the seller, and they said that they bought him off of a guy who wasn't quite sure what he was... so I suppose your guess is as good as any. Thanks a lot for your input! Just curious if I'm getting a deal for a possible morph that they weren't sure they had.

If the seller cannot identify his own animal that should be your red flag to stay away.

My guess would be something along the line of Killer Bee Genetic Stripe (to diluted to be just a Bumble Bee Genetic stripe IMO) but it could be something else, in either case spider is involve so do your research on that, could be something else as well and not be genetic stripe at all.

Thanks, Deborah. I'm going to see the animal before I purchase (check for mites, see how they handle him and other reptiles, make sure he's eating/shedding/pooping/etc regularly, etc), and I fully intend to check for any sort of neurological problems that I know the spider gene can cause. Of course they didn't mention any wobbling etc, but I wouldn't either if I were a shady seller...

As for the morph ID, I would care more about them not knowing their own animal, but a. with how many morphs there are it's not strange for someone not to know exactly, and b. I won't be using this animal in breeding at all (especially not if he's got spider in him).

When selling anything with spider there are many people that claim there's does not wobble, they all do to a degree if you know what to look for and it has to be the right time too. ;)

I'll definitely do a bunch more research on it so I'll be prepared for anything if I purchase this BP. Thanks for your advice!
