    Corn snake head turning black
Hello fellow reptile owners. I was noticing my corn snakes head is turning black. I don't know if I should be concerned because the breeder told me she was het anerythristic. She is 1 year old if the has anything to do with it.

Please post a picture if you can. Most corn snake morphs are recessive and won't be visual if they are het. I don't know of any morphs that make the head turn black.

Hard to say without seeing the snake, but FYI, many corn snakes continue to change colors for the first year+ of life. You might ask the breeder, but it sounds
like just the normal color adjustments they all make...some pigments come in early, while others (like yellow) come in very late. I'm assuming this is a GRADUAL
change? ;) Off-hand I don't know of any corns where the heads turn black, but then again, there are SO many breeding for odd colors these days???

I can't post a picture. But it is more like a greyish color on top of her head.
