    Mexican Black Kings
Im thinking about getting another snake now that I have a little experience. Im thinking about getting a Mexican Black. I've researched a bit and found a lot of answers but I couldn't find a couple. What should be the warm and cool end temps. I saw a lot of different answers. Also what are their disposition like. I heard they can be nippy as hatchlings. Are there any negatives with them.

    I love my MBK.

They go for a bit cooler temps than a BP.. but 82-84 warm side is good, and nothing below 75 on the cool.

As with most snakes, babies can be nippy, but with such a small animal, it is unlikely to even draw blood... let alone hurt! They tame easily though.

What kind of girth do they have on them when there an adult. Also whats the largest meal that it would eat.

They don't get very big.. probably would eat an adult mouse full grown. Girth.. I'm estimating 3/4" diameter.. though I don't really know for sure.
