My next Snake

Im wanting to get another snake, but I cant really decide. I've basically narrowed it down between. another ball python, a columbian boa, and a Cal King. Im leaning a bit towards the king since they stay smaller and different morphs are prety decent priced. I may consider a Milk snake though if I can find one I like.

I saw this awesome Lavender Albino Cal King...purple and yellow pale strips on a perfect white glossy body...awesome.

But, go with the Boas. If you already have a python, why not a boa? Rosy Boas stay within three feet and are very docile. I love mine, they rock!!

I would vote for at least trying another species since you already have a BP.

I have boas, and I adore them. They do have the potential to grow quite large.. even my hogg island boa (which stays smaller than your average colombian) is a good 5.5' and could grow to 7'. A colombian female can grow to a bulky 8-9', even 10' on occasion!

I have 3 cali kings.. they are nippy little brats as youngsters, but as with most colubrids they tame easily. Milk snakes are usually more high strung than cali kings.. they are nut cases as babies usually.
