    Humidity question
How do you monitor the humidity in a small Sterilite bin? I see that a lot of people use AcuRite, but it looks too big to fit in with the two hides and water dish. Right now I have the Zoo Med thermometer humidity gauge, which is the perfect size, but I've heard it can be inaccurate.

I use a small digital hydrometer that I secured up in the corner. I'm not sure of the brand but it's only about the size of a half dollar so it's easy to find a home for it. I think I got it at Petsmart. The way the battery cover opens up I was able to superglue the cover to the glass so that when I slide it together it locks into place.

How do you know if your humidity gauge is accurate?

Have you tried looking at the wired probed models for AcuRite?

I wouldn't trust the zoomed one, especially if it's the stick on ones since the adhesive can be dangerous to your snake if it ever comes loose, which unfortunately has happened before and seriously injured snakes.
