1st Mouse!

i was feeding the babies, when i noticed that Sriracha my spoonfed Oreocryptophis porphyraceus coxi was tracking prey. i decided to throw him a mouse. well he practically leapt out of the tub, missed, resets, strikes again and wrap! so much for politeness my lil boy!

FYI - this is actually his first mouse! he's been on multiple pinkies then fuzzies per meal since i got him in March. he's been growing steadily and very problem free for a Coxi.

My little guy was my scariest snake even though he was probably under 18" long :)

Is yours handleable or a psychotic monster ??

When I recently moved him into a container so I could clean his viv out he bit me continuously about 40 times ... luckily I was kitted up with leather driving gloves :)

Beautiful snake! Love seeing other species, esp. the less common ones.
The chain maille looks good too. Perhaps there are possibilities for combining our hobby with an SCA event.
