    Caulker key baby arrived today
I had no idea how tiny this little thing would be. Makes the 107g BP hatchling look HUGE.
The ten gallon tank I set up for him is enormous.
Even the tiniest hides I had ready (just in case) look a bit roomy.

Should he be in a shoe box?

The vendor said what he was eating, and I thought, "gosh, that's a small meal," but it didn't totally register.
He is curled up in the middle of the enclosure (temps correct, all sides of glass covered for insulation and privacy) looking a bit shell-shocked.
Don't see any thing specifically amiss. Arrived on time, warm, and well packaged.

    Hope he is ok.

Boas aren’t big into hides as long as everything is correct I wouldn’t be to worried about it I don’t think I’ve ever owned a boa that’s ever used its hide and if it did it was rare.more just offer in case.boas are a lot more active then bps.

Just give him a few different sized hides and cover like plastic or silk vines, some corrugated drain pipe/pvc and let him adjust. He is probably just scared as there is no 'familiar' spot in the cage so he has to find a 'safe' spot, then slowly enlarge the spot with investigation.

Ha! If I remember to pronounce it correctly (?) as in "key," I mis-spell it.
If I remember the proper spelling, I end up saying it wrong. :rolleye2:

Briefly checked on him first thing this morning, he seems to be doing fine.
