Ball python transfer not seeming the greatest so far.
I just transfered my 7 month old ball to a tub. i also have a 2+ year old in a tub that as far as i know shes been in it her whole life i just adopted her on friday. and she barley moves. so i figured the other one would be happier in a tub and better humidity etc. Well i just transfered her and all she wants to do is escape. shes never acted this way this bad before. im not sure if shes just trying to settle down or whats going on but by the looks of things shes not happy about this at all lol. Should i let her settle in or transfer her back to a glass tank?. Is she going to settle down or is this going to be a problem for her?.

As long as your husbandry is correct, she will settle down.

A move is a move. No matter if from tub to cage, or cage to tank, tank to ?

Even a move from a bad home to a good one (like for a rescue BP) is still stressful, even though it is better for the snake of course. Give her a few days to settle down, she should be alright :)

Thanks. Just wanted to make sure she would be okay. First time moving her. She was in a glass cage before and was to hard to maintain humidity and stuff now its sitting at like 70% its crazy the difference

Agree with zina10....try to imagine what it's like to be a snake, & suddenly your entire world changes & you have NO idea where the one you knew went to? :O
In the wild, they must learn their way around to survive...but you are preventing her from going back to the home where she felt safe.
