    ***This is a live rat kill video. If you are against live feeding, please don’t watch this, nor comment, because I don’t want to hear your opinion in this thread, and I’ve heard it all before. If the insane striking speed of a ball python intrigues you... check this out. Even in slow motion, the strike is almost invisibly fast!!!

    Whew! These videos are always so tense! I'm always terrified that the rat will notice, especially when the snake gets super close like that

    It helps that the prey is a domestic rat, not a wild one, & that there was nowhere to run...but either way, snakes are remarkably good at their job. :snake:

    Thank you for the video. Recently got into BPs and this was nice to show my Sister for an example. We don't feed live, but she was asking how quickly the snake takes down a live prey item. She jumped.

    Thanks, she is a very unique patterned piebald, with very bright orange and peach tones, hasn’t browned out at all!
