What size reptile basic hide box?
So I have a growing 1440g female that’s starting to outgrow her hides. I’ve seen so many bp’s on here snuggled in their reptile basic hides so I’d really like to try them. My only problem is that I don’t know what size to get her :confusd:

I've got one XL that I've been using for my BP, Tyson since he moved into his 40 breeder a long time ago. He's just over 1,000 grams now and it's still HUGE for him, but I just clutter it up with a rock and some moss and he's used it regularly since day 1.

I've got the size large for my 2, a ~900g and ~1400g, both males. There's still a pretty good amount of space in that size for my bigger boy, but I'd probably go for an XL if he were over 1800(?) just so he didn't need to be visible through the doorway when curled up.

Under 1500g would definitely fit just fine in the size large. My smaller boy outgrew the mediums around 700-800g where he was constantly lifting it off the ground and leaving part of his side or tail hanging out that gap.
