    watery yellow urate?
As you may know, my adult female dumerils boa has an RI. I checked on her this evening to see if she had finished shedding, and when I was moving her with the snake hook, she started.. well, farting. I looked to see what she was doing, and she left a urate that had milky yellow liquid and some white chunks.. though not very solid. This isn't what I'm used to seeing, though I usually see the urate after the liquid urine part is dried/soaked in.

Anyone know if this means anything? She is going to the vet tomorrow..

Just got back.. vet probed her as a 'he', but admitted that she had a female-like stubby tail. 7'+ and 21lbs seems a bit large for a male dumerils too. Dums may be one of those species where females probe deeper than normal. I'm going to e-mail my burm's breeder and ask, as he breeds dums too.

I got an antibiotic (amakacin) for her RI. He said she looks in good shape and her mouth wasn't bubbly or red so it looks good for her.

I'm not convinced that it's male.

The breeder I got the snake from keeps ONLY dumerils.. I think they'd know! They're selling off all of their breeding stock, it's likely they have produced babies from this snake before.
